Subsidy on Solar Pump

The Indian government provides significant subsidies for solar pumps to promote sustainable agriculture. Under the Central Financial Assistance (CFA) scheme, farmers in Maharashtra can receive subsidies ranging from 30% to 90% of the total cost, depending on the pump's size and type. The Solar Water Pumping Scheme supports solar pumps for irrigation and drinking water, allowing farmers to apply for financial assistance through state nodal agencies or the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
